Two years ago, I faced a frustrating challenge that many Telegram channel owners know too well: spending time and money on a channel with little to no income. I almost gave up…

That’s when I decided to analyze what went wrong, test dozens of strategies, and focus only on what actually works. As a result, I started seeing real progress — more subscribers and consistent income from my Telegram channels.

In this post, I’ll share the best tools that helped me monetize my Telegram channels — and can help you do the same.

Monetize Your Telegram Channel Through Donations and Subscriptions

If people enjoy your content, they might want to support you by donation — but don’t overdo it. Avoid constantly asking for donations or writing messages that sound like begging — that can push your audience away.

You can even set up a subscription to share behind-the-scenes content, tips, or anything special just for your biggest fans.

#1. Tribute

@Tribute – An official bot that helps you create paid subscriptions and accept donations. Offer exclusive content to your subscribers or receive one-time support from fans who enjoy your work.

Screenshot of the Tribute bot profile on Telegram, showing a blue card with a white star icon. The bot has 1,463,250 monthly users. It allows creators to set up subscriptions and donations, manage subscribers, and handle global payments. Subscribers can pay for access to content. The bot is verified by Telegram and described as secure and easy to use.

Here’s an example.

  1. I created the exclusive community for Telegram channel owners, bot & mini app creators, and entrepreneurs growing their business on Telegram. In the community, you can swap tips, network with entrepreneurs, get expert support directly from me, and access exclusive weekly strategies for growing and monetizing your Telegram channel.
  2. I added @Tribute to my community and created a payment page — now, once someone pays, they’re automatically added to the paid group. You can see how it looks here.

The page includes a payment method section with accepted cards (Visa, MasterCard, MIR), and the merchant location is listed as Cyprus. The form promotes joining a community for Telegram channel owners, bot and mini app creators, and entrepreneurs growing their business on Telegram.

#2. Buy Me a Coffee

Buy Me a Coffee – A platform that lets you accept one-time donations or set up paid memberships. Share exclusive content with your supporters or simply give them a way to say thanks for your work.

The platform highlights that it’s loved by over 1,000,000 creators. Examples of creators using the platform include podcasters, YouTubers, and artists. A bright yellow button says “Start my page.”

#3. Patreon

Monetize Your Telegram Channel Through Sponsored Posts

A sponsored post is just like any regular post on your channel — but paid for by a company. Don’t confuse this with Telegram’s official Sponsored Ads.

In this case, a brand pays you directly to promote their product or service. For this to happen, sponsors need to find you — or you need to find them. And your offer should look attractive and trustworthy.

Here are some tools that help you connect with sponsors.

#4. Telega.io

Telega.io – A platform that connects Telegram channel owners with advertisers. Get paid to publish sponsored posts, choose brands that match your niche, and monetize your audience through direct ad deals.

Screenshot of Telega.io homepage showcasing its advertising platform for Telegram channels and bots. The headline promotes a constant flow of ad orders, with over 70,000 advertisers ready to pay for Telegram audiences. Key stats highlight $500 monthly income, 2 new ad orders per minute, and 1,000 new projects weekly. A mobile phone image displays an example sponsored post. A blue “Add Channel or Bot” button is shown below.
Telega.io

Here’s an example.

I’ve listed some of my channels on Telega.io and occasionally receive orders through it. The flow of orders can be irregular, but when they come, they can add a nice boost.

One important thing to know: not everyone who finds you on Telega.io will place an order through the platform. Some brands discover your channel there, check it out, and then message you directly to avoid paying Telega’s commission.

So even if you don’t get direct sales from it right away — it’s still worth adding your channel to the catalog. It works like free exposure.

Screenshot of a Telegram channel listing on Telega.io titled “Analytics and growth mindset.” The channel is categorized under Education and has 8.3K subscribers, a 5.0 star rating, and a 7.3 overall rating. The ad placement cost is $358.80 for a 7-day slot. The listing includes a description of the channel’s content focus and audience, recent posts, and channel statistics like APV and engagement rate. Buttons to share or add the channel to favorites are also visible.

#5. TGStat

TGStat – A platform where you can list your Telegram channel and discover others. By adding your channel, you increase its visibility — making it easier for potential advertisers, partners to find you through search and rankings.

Screenshot of the TGStat “Add a channel” page where users can submit their Telegram channel or group for listing. The form includes fields for the channel link, country, content language, and category, along with a reCAPTCHA checkbox. The page allows Telegram channel owners to increase visibility and discoverability on the TGStat analytics and directory platform.

The channel has 18,913 subscribers, contact details, and a link to tghero.pro. Options include viewing channel statistics, adding to favorites, and filtering posts. A growth chart of subscribers and a sample popular post are also visible.

#6. EPICSTARS

#8. Reach out to potential clients directly.

You need to find companies that are a good fit for your Telegram channel — and send them a personalized offer. Don’t spam random businesses — it’s a waste of time and won’t get you results. The more targeted your audience is, and the more relevant your offer, the higher your chances of landing a deal.

Whenever possible, reach out to someone in charge of marketing or partnerships. A direct contact makes your message more likely to be seen — and answered. Use email or LinkedIn to connect professionally and start the conversation.

It’s also important to offer your clients multiple reliable and convenient payment methods. I use a mix of options, including Stripe, PayPal, cryptocurrency, and others, so clients can choose what works best for them.

Also, keep in mind that some companies — especially larger or international ones — may ask you for documents like invoices or receipts before they can process a payment. Make sure you’re ready to provide those when needed.

The interface advises logging in to view full transaction details.

Monetize Your Telegram Channel Through Referral Programs

Referral programs can be a good extra income stream. I don’t see them as a main source of revenue — but as a bonus? Absolutely.

To make them work, choose programs that actually match your audience’s interests. You can find good options by browsing companies in your niche or using partner platforms made for affiliates.

#10. Find Referral Programs on Your Own

I regularly search for new referral programs with products that fit my Telegram channels — and promote them in a natural, native way. It’s a great way to earn extra income without overwhelming your audience.

Look for tools, services, or digital products your followers would genuinely find useful, then recommend them with your unique referral link. Just make sure it’s relevant — relevance builds trust and conversions.

For example, in one of my posts, I recommended several tools for data analysts that I’ve personally used — especially Julius AI. That single post brought me $20.38 USD.

Screenshot of a Telegram post from the channel “Analytics and growth mindset” with 8,269 subscribers. The post is titled “10 Best AI Tools for Excel and Spreadsheets in 2025 (Paid + Free) that I've tried” and highlights Julius AI as the first recommendation. The content describes Julius AI as a computational data analyst with advanced analysis features and compatibility with Excel, spreadsheets, PDFs, and more. The pricing is listed as Free + Paid. The post includes a referral link and visual of the Julius AI interface.

The program offers a 30% recurring commission on all payments. The account joined on January 16, 2024. A note states that paid Google Ads are not allowed for promotion through Rewardful links.

It’s not a huge amount, but the key is consistency. You can include native affiliate recommendations in many posts over time — and together, they can add up.

#11. PartnerStack

PartnerStack – A curated marketplace of affiliate and referral programs from top SaaS and tech companies. Browse by niche, join programs that match your content, and start earning commissions. Perfect if you want high-quality partnerships without the spammy offers.

Each program includes a short description, commission rate, and an “Apply to program” link. The interface highlights how users can browse and join high-paying referral programs.

Use Analytics to Improve Monetization

Analytics is one of the most powerful — and most overlooked — tools for monetizing a Telegram channel. Many creators skip it, but those who track their data are much more likely to grow their income over time.

By understanding which posts perform best, when your audience is most active, and what content actually drives clicks or sales, you can make smarter decisions — and attract more sponsors, subscribers, or buyers.

Below are some of my go-to tools for making data-driven decisions.

#12. TGStat

TGStat.com – A powerful analytics platform for Telegram channels. Track post performance, audience growth, and engagement trends. Use it to improve your content strategy, understand your audience better, and boost your monetization potential with data-backed decisions.

Key statistics include subscriber growth, join/leave trends, average post reach, advertising reach, citation index, total posts, and gender breakdown of subscribers. The interface highlights real-time tracking and performance insights for Telegram channels, useful for monetization and content strategy.

Monetize Your Telegram Channel by Selling Your Own Products

Selling your own products is one of the most direct and profitable ways to monetize a Telegram channel. Yet many creators overlook it because they think they need a full website or big audience to start. You don’t.

If your content already solves a problem or delivers value, you can package that into a product — a guide, a template, a course, a service — and sell it to your audience.

Whether it’s digital or physical, having something of your own to offer puts you in control of your income.
Below are some tools I recommend for creating and selling your own products on Telegram.

#15. Gumroad

Gumroad – A simple platform to sell digital products like ebooks, courses, templates, or memberships. Share your link on Telegram, accept payments instantly, and start earning from your audience. Great for creators who want to sell without setting up a full website.

The interface displays product previews, descriptions, star ratings, and "$0+" price tags. The navigation bar includes links to Home, Features, Pricing, and Taxes, with product categories like Design, Self Improvement, and Business & Money.

#16. @BotFather

BotFather – The official Telegram tool to create and manage your bots or mini apps. Use it to set up your bot’s name, commands, and permissions. Perfect starting point if you want to sell products, show images and descriptions, or connect your bot to a custom mini app storefront.

#17. @Tribute

I mentioned @Tribute earlier, but here’s another way to use it:
You can also offer digital or physical products through this bot — not just subscriptions or donations. It’s a flexible tool for creators who want to sell directly inside Telegram.

Monetize Your Telegram Channel with Stars and Paid Posts

#18. Telegram Stars

Telegram now allows creators to earn through Stars — a simple way for your audience to support your content. You can encourage your followers to tap the ⭐ on your posts as a small gesture of appreciation. Over time, these stars can turn into real earnings.

Screenshot of a Telegram post promoting the Telegram Hero Community. The post includes a call-to-action for feedback and growth support, and has received multiple reactions: 33 stars, 8 thumbs up, 7 fire emojis, 3 hearts, and 1 lightning emoji. It has 1.1K views, was edited at 11:43, and has 1 comment. Telegram Stars are visibly highlighted, showing post monetization potential through user support.

#19. Paid posts

You can also create paid posts that offer exclusive tips, resources, or valuable insights. This works especially well if you share educational or niche content. Let people access the full post only after they send stars — or promote a post with a short free preview and a locked section for supporters.

It’s a great option if you want to earn without relying on sponsors or ads — just by delivering consistent value to your audience.

The image preview shows a mind map diagram, and additional options include "Send without sound," "Schedule message," and "Hide with Spoiler." The highlighted option “Make This Content Paid” allows creators to monetize individual posts directly within Telegram, offering exclusive content to paying users.
